What is it?
This is a bi-annual DPI competition against Jaguar Photographic Club. Corley are the current holders when we last competed in 2021.
Rules
If any Corley image wins the overall category on 1st November that image will go into our Photo of the Year in December under the DPI category.There are 10 subject categories.
Each club submits two images into the 10 different categories for independent judging. On the judging night the independent judge chosen by the ‘home’ team selects the placings in each category and finally selects the best of the best images. Corley did particularly well last time around winning a high percentage of the categories.
2023 Ten categories have been selected by the clubs:
- The colour pink
- Natural Beauty
- Paper
- Moving Water
- Holiday memories
- Patterns
- Transport
- Lets Get Creative
- Playing with light
- Food
Photographs must be taken between 1st June and 31st August and the EXIF data will be checked.
With the exception of the PINK category, they can be colour or mono images.
Each image entered must be no bigger than 1920 wide *1080 pixels high and submitted via Photoentry.

Selection process
At the club meeting scheduled for 4th September members will select the best two from the membership in each category to go into the inter club competition against Jaguar
Competition night
Competition night is Wednesday 1st November 2023 away this year at the Jaguar club venue
What to do next
Its easy, go out and take photographs but not till the 1st June
